DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Dayton man is accused of kidnapping a woman off the street and holding her captive for hours.
Police call this case a very violent crime.
Allen Stevenson, 45, is being held in the Montgomery County Jail.
Investigators say he forced a woman into his truck just off East Third Street and Philadelphia Drive early Saturday, December 1 as she walked home from a convenience store.
Officers say Stevenson drove the 25-year old victim to his employer's building on Linden Avenue, then raped and beat her for 12 hours.
The victim convinced her attacker to release her. She made her way to the hospital for help.
We talked with a woman who knows the victim. "I hope you get what's coming to you and he go to jail and pay for this. That's what he did, no woman deserves that," said Marlene Clark.
The victim is recovering from physical and emotional trauma.
Stevenson is charged with abduction and rape felony charges.
He's being held in jail on a $500,000 bond.
The inspections are available at public boat launch ramps through June.
