Rain dampers fair attendance

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Labor Day marks the end of the Montgomery County Fair.
According to its director, attendance is down 12% this year when compared to numbers in 2011.
Despite the rain, fairgoers enjoyed the rides, traditional fair food, games and activities.
If you haven't made it out to the grounds yet, a local band will be performing in the Entertainment Tent from 5- 7 p.m.
The Demolition Derby will wrap up the 2012 fair in the Grandstands. The event begins at 7p.m.
The fair closes at 10 p.m.
