DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Neighbors' complaints led to the discovery of drugs at a Dayton home Monday night.
Officers served a search warrant in the 3600 block of East Third Street around 5:00 pm.
Police say the investigation began after receiving tips that someone in the home was selling cocaine and heroin.
An officer was forced to shoot a pit bull during the raid. The dog did survive.
One person was arrested after drugs were found in the home.
"A couple of juveniles were inside the house. They'll be interviewed by detectives and then we'll see if there needs to be any additional charges against the adult for the kids being inside the residence," said Lt. Andrew Booher, Dayton Police Department.
The suspect's name has not been released.
