NEW CARLISLE, Ohio (WDTN) - Pumpkins dropped and pulp flew through the air Sunday at Meadow View Growers Fall Fun Days for the Squash Out Alzheimer's Pumpkin Smash.

The messy fun held at Meadow View Growers Garden Center at 755 North Dayton-Lakeview Road raised money for Alzheimer's research and charity support.

All proceeds from pumpkin purchases and $1 from every admission ticket will go toward the Miami Valley Chapter of Alzheimer's Association.

The Squash Out Alzheimer's Pumpkin Smash is an ongoing partnership between Meadow View Growers and the Alzheimer's Association.

Meadow View Grower's Fall Fun Days are held Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through October 28. Features include a six-acre corn maze, mini zip line, bonfires, and other family-friendly activities.
