DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A public forum held in Dayton Monday evening discussed the Ohio budget.

Community leaders, legislators and residents talked about everything from taxes to education.

A lot of discussion focused on Governor Kasich's school budgeting plan and how it will impact students.

"We need to make sure schools are properly funded so that we can have great programs and treat our children the way they need to be treated," said Nick Baker, Outreach Director of One Ohio Now.

Dayton City Commissioner Nan Whaley and State Representative Fred Strahorn were among the panelists.

The forum was presented by One Ohio Now .
