GERMANTOWN, Ohio (WDTN) - Pretzel-lovers filled the streets of Germantown Saturday for the 33rd annual Pretzel Festival.

Activities began Saturday at 9 a.m. and run until 9 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park off West Market Street.

Festival-goers could indulge in cinnamon pretzels, pretzel doughnuts, deep fried pretzels, pizza-flavored pretzels, and pretzels filled with jalapeno or cream cheese.

In addition to a variety of pretzel treats, vendors also sold barbeque chicken, waffles, and pork chops.

The free festival was also packed with handcrafts, games, and entertainment.

2 NEWS Jim Bucher kicked off the festival as the Master of Ceremonies Saturday morning.

The festival will be open Sunday from noon until 6 p.m.
