Dayton, OHIO (WDTN) - Today, July 16, President Obama will make another visit to Republican stronghold Cincinnati.

In his second visit to the Queen City this election cycle , he's expected to define his campaign vision for our country's future by strengthening the middle-class while paying down the debt.

The President believes the only way to build a lasting economy is to build it from the middle out, not the top down while investing in education, energy, innovation, and infrastructure.

In a recent visit with 2 News, Congressman Steve Austria said the election has come to a fork in the road in what he sees as a new health care tax on the American people paid for by devastating cuts in the military which could impact over 1200 Ohioans including cuts at Springfield's Air National Guard Base.

"I think it is very important that any cuts that are made in national security is not going to jeopardize our national defense and national security makes sense from a cost efficient stand point and the impact that is going to have on states," said Austria.

The President will be making his remarks around 2:30 today in Cincinnati at the Cincinnati Music Hall Ballroom.
