DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Only 2 news is there as Dayton police arrest a homicide suspect.
Michael Harwell was lead into jail Monday following his arrest in connection with the murder of 29-year-old Jason Miller back in June.
Miller was found shot in the head in the middle of Guthrie Road. Police said he suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Harwell was arrested on Taylorsville Road in Huber Heights by the U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) and Dayton Police.
"When we initially confronted him with the whole team, he acted very surprised," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Nathan Lupica. "He didn't put up a fight, he complied with our orders and he really didn't ask any questions".
According to jail records, Harwell faces 14 charges, including two counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder, six counts of kidnapping, three counts of felonious assault and one count of Having weapons under disability (of a previous drug conviction).
He was indicted by a Grand Jury on Friday and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
An update on the case is coming up tonight on 2 NEWS at 5:00.
