The woman told police she was inside her car in the Big Lots parking lot at 2800 Wilmington Pike, when a man got in the car and assaulted her.

She said he then took control of the car and drove it into an apartment complex on Bobbie Place, where he got out and ran towards East Dorothy Lane.

The suspect is a white male, 30 to 40 years of age, 5’8” and approximately 150 pounds.  He has a scruffy beard, was wearing blue jeans, a dark jacket, a burgundy and blue stocking cap, and is slightly tan.

Anyone with information leading to the identity of this suspect or was in the area at the time the crime occurred, is urged to call Detective Mason at 296-2583.
