MORAINE, Ohio (WDTN) - West Carrollton High School, the city of Moraine, and First Freedom Church have teamed up to make sure no child goes hungry on the weekends or during other school breaks.

"Pirate packs" are distributed each Friday for students in Moraine.  They contain indiviudal-sized, easy-to-heat foods so the kids can even prepare the meals themselves.

Food donations for the program can be dropped off at blue barrels located at: the Moraine Civic Center, the Payne Recreation Center, and the city of Moraine Municipal building, West Carrollton Police Department lobby, West Carrollton Church of the Nazarene, Moraine City Baptist Church, and the Central Presbyterian Church.

For more information on the program, call the Moraine Parks and Recreation Department at 535-1095.
