Ten people who attended a Neff Landscaping customer appreciation picnic became ill. Six had to be hospitalized.

It is still unclear how many have tested positive for E. coli.

"We are in the very early stages of this investigation, so there may be some other people out there that we are not aware of at this point. And for those people that we are not aware of, if they attended the picnic, they may want to call Public Health at 225-4460 to let us know," said Bill Wharton, Public Health, Dayton and Montgomery County.

E. coli symptoms include bloody diarrhea, fever, nausea, vomiting and stomach cramps.
