MIAMISBURG, Ohio (WDTN) - A driver had to be cut from the cab of his pickup truck after being involved in a accident with a dump truck Wednesday afternoon.
The dump truck t-boned the pickup at the intersection of Dayton-Cincinnati Pike and Benner Road in Miamisburg just before 2:00.
The impact of the crash crushed the pickup and shoved it all the way off the road.
CareFlight was called to fly the victim back to Miami Valley Hospital.
Medics told 2 NEWS the man was responsive when they loaded him onto the helicopter.
His name and condition has not been released.
The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
Miamisburg Police are still investigating the cause.
The Purple Passion 5K run/walk was held at Shawnee Park Saturday afternoon.
