DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A man who descibed himself as a pastor was caught by Dayton police in a prostitution sting.
Leo Akpan, 43, was arrested January 23, 2013 after police say he answered an on-line ad for a prostitute.
Police say they set up a sting between Akpan and an undercover officer at a home in Dayton.
Officers say they moved in to make the arrest when they say Akpan offered $80.00 for the woman's services.
The police report says Akpan struggled to be handcuffed. He told police he was a pastor who contacted the prostitute in order to convert her as a member of his church.
Akpan is now charged with soliciting a prostitute, resisting arrest and possessing criminal tools.
