SPRINGBORO, Ohio (WDTN) - An overnight crash on I-75 has Ohio State Patrol saying alcohol may be a potential factor.

The driver, who has not been identified, lost control of his car while traveling on I-75 south.

The car went airborne after hitting a guardrail, near the Springboro/Franklin exit, just after 4 a.m. Saturday.

The car hit a sign before landing on its top in lanes running below the interstate.

Police arrived on scene and could not locate the driver, who had walked to a nearby gas station.

The driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Troopers believe that alcohol may be factor in the crash.
