VANDALIA, Ohio (WDTN) - A former Tipp City businessman was returned to the Miami Valley Thursday evening.
2 NEWS had the only crew there when Tipp City police arrived with Michael Wion at Dayton International Airport.
Wion was arrested outside the Venice, Florida home he shares with his wife on Tuesday after unexpectedly quitting his job at Repacorp earlier this month.
Wion is accused of stealing more than $400,000 from the company, where he served as a financial controller over the past six years.
"We want to send the message that if you commit a crime in Tipp City, you will be brought to justice," said Sergeant Chris Graham with the Tipp City police department. "We value our citizens and businesses and will go to great lengths to protect and serve those in our small city."
Wion is currently being held at the Miami County Jail.
According to investigators, he will likely face a judge Friday. Right now, Wion is facing theft charges, but investigators said additional charges are pending.
The investigation is on-going.
