PERRY TOWNSHIP (WDTN) - A single car crash has shut down a stretch of Old Dayton Road near New Lebanon.

The accident knocked down a utility pole and tossed power lines across the road.

A woman who lives nearby told 2 NEWS photojournalist Kris Sproles the impact of the crash sounded like a tornado hit her house.

Sproles said the car's airbags deployed, but Perry Township police have not released information on the driver or the extent of any injuries.

The accident happened at about 7:15 a.m. west of Diamond Mill Road.
