DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Ohio Department of Transportation will hold several meetings over the next couple of weeks about I-75 construction plans through downtown Dayton.

Residents and business owners will have a chance to ask questions about the final phase of the project.

Attendees will see how the construction will affect downtown's central business district, including what routes will remain open during the final phase.

The meeting schedule is as follows:

- Tuesday, September 18th @ Noon: KeyBank Tower, 10 West 2nd St., Suite 611

- Wednesday, September 19th @ 8:00 am: KeyBank Tower, 10 West 2nd St., Suite 611

- Saturday, September 22nd from Noon-5:30 pm:  DAI Oktoberfest Information Booth

- Sunday, September 23rd from Noon-5:30 pm:  DAI Oktoberfest Information Booth

ODOT says the final phase will improve safety, decrease congestion and remove left hand entrances and exits while creating one primary ramp to access downtown Dayton.  The project will also create three continuous lanes in both directions from Third Street to Main Street and upgrade pavement conditions.

For more information visit the project webpage or call the 24 hour hotline at 937-425-8475
