WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) - President Obama was sworn-in with a bible belonging to First Lady Michelle Obama's family during a private ceremony Sunday.  Chief Justice John Roberts administered the oath in the Blue Room at the White House.   President Obama hugged his wife and daughters after taking the oath for a second term.

Vice President Joe Biden was also sworn in surrounded by family and friends at the US Naval Observatory.

Gary Pullen watched both ceremonies from his Dayton home.

"They were beautiful," said Pullen.

Pullen said he would like to see the President and Congress get the deficit under control.

"Over the next four years I'm hopeful we can really get our economy going," said Pullen.  "We need more jobs."

Pat Wright, also of Dayton, said she hopes President Obama will continue to focus on reducing gun violence.

"I would like to see him (Obama) to push for more regulations," said Wright.

The President will take the oath again Monday at a public inauguration ceremony outside the Capitol, where approximately 800,000 people are expected to attend.

2 News will have full coverage of the event.
