DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Neon Movies is trying to keep up with the times and needs your help to do it.
Film distributors will soon stop sending 35 millimeter films to the theater and start producing only digital projections.
The Neon must now convert all of its equipment.
It raised $7,000 already, but needs $18,000 more.
You can help by buying a ticket to a special screening of Amelie on October 14.
It'll cost you either $100 or $150 dollars for admission. That includes the admission price, appetizers from area restaurants and your equipment donation.
