HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - The City of Huber Heights moved forward with plans to open an aquatic and recreation center.

City officials gave naming rights to Kroger at Monday night's council meeting.

Coca-Cola agreed to provide refreshments and Buckeye Eco-Care will manage the landscaping.

The rec center features a giant pool, lazy river and slides. It's slated to open Memorial Day weekend.

The rec center is just one component to "The Heights", an 800-acre shopping, entertainment and office complex.
