More setbacks for Huber's Heat Nighclub

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - Another setback for a controversial nightclub in Huber Heights came Wednesday.

 The Heat Nightclub submitted two requests to the Ohio Liquor Control Commission, asking that owner Jessica Kennedy be issued a new liquor license or be given a renewal of the old one. Both requests were denied 2 News  confirmed on Wednesday.

Huber Heights officials and authorities have been fighting to shut down the club since earlier this year, claiming the club was responsible for too much violence and noise.

Heat Nightclub is located at 6115 Brandt Pike.
