DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Mixed Martial Arts fighter who assaulted three Dayton Police officers was sentenced Thursday to seven years prison.

Nikolaos Boscarino attacked the officers during an altercation outside of Taggart’s Pub in August 2011, sending all three to hospitals.

Boscarino was found guilty on Nov. 2 and was subsequently booked into jail.

During his sentencing Thursday, Officer Donnie Smith told the court that he suffered a concussion as a result of Boscarino’s attack.
