DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Dayton Urban League has been revived following an announcement on Friday morning.
Officials unveiled plans to merge the Dayton and Cincinnati regions into the new , "Urban League of Greater Southwest Ohio." The board of the new league includes people from both cities.
The Dayton chapter folded almost two years ago because of financial distress.
The revival also created a new call center in Avondale, which could be home to 100 new jobs within two years.
