DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A suspect wanted by the Dayton Police Department and profiled on a 2NEWS Crime Stoppers Alert was arrested by U.S. Marshals.

Kevin Collins, 31, was arrested May 23 by the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) in Columbus, Ohio.

When warrants were issued for Collin's arrest in March, it is believed that he immediately fled the Dayton area, said U.S. Marshal Patrick Sedoti. When Collins was located in Columbus, SOFAST officers surrounded the house and called out for Collins to surrender, which he did without incident.

Collins was wanted for gross sexual imposition of a child under 13 years of age and six counts of sexual battery.
