Man struck and killed in Miamisburg

MIAMISBURG, Ohio (WDTN) - Miamisburg Police are investigating the death of a man hit by a car.
Crews rushed to State Route 725 near Mall Woods Drive around 10:00 pm Monday evening.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was crossing the street with his dog when a car hit him. Police say he was not in a crosswalk.
He was rushed to Kettering Medical Center where he died. The dog was also killed.
Police do not plan to charge the driver. They believe the pedestrian was at fault, but the investigation continues.
