Man pleads in 2006 killing case

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A man set to go to trial Monday for a Harrison Township murder instead pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.
Benny Harper admitted killing Craig Gober in October of 2006. Gober was severely beaten near his Detroit Avenue home.. Harper was arrested five years later.
Harper pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter Monday. He'll be sentenced on July 10th.
