Man indicted for execution-style murder

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Montgomery County prosecutors have indicted a man for a deadly shooting in December 2011.
Shawn D. Wood, 32, is charged with two counts of murder, robbery, burglary and felonious assault.
An apartment manager found the body of Cory Turner. He was shot execution-style and left to die on his bed.
Investigators discovered that Turner spoke with Wood on the telephone shortly before his death. Officers said Woods had some of Turner's personal items with him when they arrested him.
Wood is already in jail on charges filed from a previous case involving a kidnapping and rape in 1997.
He is in the Montgomery County Jail and is scheduled to be arraigned March 7.
