Police identify body found in bushes

VANDALIA, Ohio (WDTN) - The Montgomery County Coroner's Office has identified the man whose body was found Friday, August 17 in Vandalia.

The body of John David Carver, of Vandalia, was found under some bushes at an apartment complex at 88 South Brown School Road.

Residents thought he was asleep, but officers quickly discovered otherwise.

The coroner says there were no visible signs of trauma, but it remains a suspicious because of where the body was found.

The investigation into the cause of death continues.
