Local soldier killed in Afghanistan

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Tecumseh High School graduate was killed in Afghanistan.
Wesley Williams graduated in 2005 and was a member of the school's ROTC program.
Friends tell 2NEWS William's body is on its way back to the United States.
Williams left behind a wife and a child.

The Purple Passion 5K run/walk was held at Shawnee Park Saturday afternoon.
