DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Dayton business partnered with the Red Cross to help the families who were displaced after a recent fire.
Rock Star Pro Wrestling is across the street from the two buildings in downtown Dayton that went up in flames back in early August.
Flames shot into the sky from the buildings, one on East Third Street and the other on Oberon Court near Keowee. Crews quickly evacuated the residents, and then spent hours battling the blaze. The fire left about two dozen people homeless.
The wrestling facility put on a free event Saturday which included live music, carnival games and a free wrestling show to help raise money for those now in need.
If you didn't make it to the event but would still like to help, contact the Dayton chapter of the Red Cross at 222-6711.
