Romney relief rally now set for 11 a.m.

KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - Kettering Fairmont High School students will be dismissed from school early Tuesday, October 30 due to the Romney relief aid event at the Trent Arena.
School officials say the high school will dismiss for the day at 1:45 pm.
The early dismissal affects the high school only.
The rally at the arena is scheduled for 11:00 am. Admission into the arena begins at 10:00 am. That time is a change from a release earlier that had the rally beginning at 3:00 pm.
School officials fear the extra traffic and security measures will likely cause logistical problems at dismissal time both for students and for people attending the rally.
Students in Kettering elementary and middle schools are not affected. Their buses will follow the usual pick-up schedules.
Romney was scheduled for a campaign rally at Trent Arena. With the arrival of Hurricane Sandy, it is changing to a disaster relief event where Romney "might" make a few brief remarks.
