IT job fair planned for Wednesday

DAYTON, Ohio (DAYTON BUSINESS JOURNAL) - Dayton Business Journal: Nearly 20 companies will be looking for workers at an IT job fair this week.

Technology First, a regional IT industry association, will host its second annual event on Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Sinclair Community College  Ponitz Center.

Ann Gallaher, chief operating officer of Technology First, said unlike many industries the economy had not impacted the need for skilled IT workers. Information technology professionals have been in demand especially in the mobile application and web-based services area, Gallaher said.
