BUTLER TWP, Ohio (WDTN) - All lanes of Interstate 70 are open after being closed for nearly 24 hours after a tractor trailer crashed near the Airport Access Road Monday evening.

When the westbound semi crashed, it spilled a load of ink, forcing a response by a hazardous materials team and the Environmental Protection Agency.

Haz-Mat crews and the EPA were called to contain the spill and asses any damage to the surrounding area.

Crews worked Monday night and through the day Tuesday to clear and clean the scene, and remove any contaminated soil.

Investigators said a shifting load caused the truck to topple over.

The 28-year-old truck driver, who suffered a minor injury, will be cited.
