Gun-toting robber caught stealing cash

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - A brazen robber was caught on surveillance video in Huber Heights.

Police released the video to 2 NEWS Wednesday afternoon of a heist on January 11 at the Dollar General Store at 6131 Brandt Pike.

Police say a man walked up to the checkout counter acting like he was making a purchase.  The suspect pulled a gun when the clerk started to open the register.  He reached in and grabbed a handful of cash before fleeing the store.

The suspect is described as a 5'5" to 5'8", with an average build.  He was wearing a BAPE multi-colored hoodie with black pants and a black ski mask.
