Grass fire shuts down highway

BUTLER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) - Multiple fire crews responded to eastbound Interstate 70 near Airport Access Road in Butler Township Sunday afternoon on reports of heavy smoke filling the roadway.
Officials said a brush fire was burning about a half-mile stretch along the interstate.
The blaze prompted crews to shut down the eastbound portion of the road while firefighters worked to extinguish it. Traffic was backed up for several miles.
No one was injured.
