DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Dayton woman pled guilty Friday to locking her granddaughter in the bathroom every night for six years.
Rivae Hart, 49, pled to abduction and child endangering charges. She could be sentenced up to three years in prison.
Hart's home was searched by police on January 27, 2011. Officers concluded that she and her husband housed the child in a small bathroom at night. They used a dresser to block the door.
The child was only let out to go to school. She was 9-years old at the time she was discovered.
Brian Hart is scheduled for trial on April 16th.
