Free cab service for holiday weekend

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A special cab service is underway to help you stay safe on the roads.

The Montgomery County Prosecutor's office is offering free rides to keep drunk drivers off the road.

The "Arrive Safe Program" started in 2007 and has since provided more than 2,700 free cab rides home.

This year, Montgomery County has had more than 140 alcohol-related traffic crashes, 11 of those were deadly.

The Arrive Safe Program runs 6 PM to 6 AM December 28th through December 31st.

Call 449-99-99 to request a free ride home.
