BELMONT, Ohio (WDTN) - Classic cars, live bands and a big crowd filled the Belmont Business District Sunday for the Second Annual Fall Jam Fest.

Organizers said the purpose of the event is to help raise money for a new crime initiative to keep the business district safe. Sunday afternoon, they recognized military members, local police, and firefighters.

While the event was all about having fun, there were also some somber moments.

Organizers took time to remember 12 year-old Andy Li who was hit and killed earlier this week while riding his bike at Smithville Road and Watervliet Avenue.

"That intersection falls right in the middle of our business district," said Dave Stanley, President of the Belmont Business Association. "We typically donate money to local charities in conjunction with the events that we have. We decided that this time, because young Andy Li, age 12, passed away on a Belmont street that we are going to donate to his family and we will also be asking the patrons for a moment of silence later today."

The Jam Fest just wrapped up at 6 p.m.
