Folks gather together for Thanksgiving meal

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Folks celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday in downtown Dayton by gathering together for a meal.

The Dayton Convention Center played host to the city's Annual Feast of Giving.

More than 500 volunteers prepared Thursday's dinner, serving all the essentials of a traditional Thanksgiving meal to those without a place to go during the holiday.

Some of the University of Dayton's Men's Basketball team were on hand for the event serving plates food.

Sponsors and local businesses helped cover the cost of the event.
