Fire damages Englewood restaurant

    ENGLEWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) - An Englewood restaurant is closed for the day due a fire.

    A furnace unit caught fire at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery, located at 1235 South Main St. shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday.

    The roof was damaged on the outside and water damaged the interior.

    All the customers and employees were able to safely escape the building.
