COLUMBUS, Ohio (WDTN) - 2 NEWS has learned that Dayton Representative, Clayton Luckie, is the expected topic of a new conference Wednesday morning in Columbus.

Several sources confirm that prosecutors and the FBI will discuss the case against Luckie.

Luckie announced back in August that he would not seek re-election after an investigation was opened to look into his conduct.

An official release obtained by 2 NEWS says the news conference is in regards to the "current results of an ongoing corruption investigation conducted by FBI agents assigned to the Columbus office."

Luckie represents Dayton's 39th District.  The Franklin County Prosecutor confirmed the investigation in August, but specifics are few, although they said bribery is not involved.

We contacted Luckie Tuesday evening, but he told our Katie Ussin he had no comment.

2 NEWS is following this developing story. We'll bring you the latest online and on 2 NEWS Wednesday morning.
