FBI called out to investigate Brookville bank robbery

BROOKVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - Police and FBI agents are investigating a bank robbery in Brookville.

The Huntington bank at 709 Arlington Road was robbed around 10:30 Thursday morning.

Brookville Police Chief Douglas Jerome told 2 NEWS the suspect handed the bank teller a note, said he had a gun and was given an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as an unshaven  white male between the ages of 25 and 35 with  reddish or brown colored hair. He stood approximately 5’-10”, wore an olive green colored hoodie, sunglasses and brown or tan colored Carhartt style pants.

Brookville Police Chief Douglas Jerome told 2 NEWS the robber could be driving a blue 2001 Chevrolet S-10 truck with Indiana registration 51179. That truck is reported as a stolen vehicle out of Indiana.
