The crash occurred around 11:45 a.m. on U.S. 35 between James H. McGee Boulevard and Abbey Road.

Officials said a car was traveling eastbound on U.S. 35 when it hit an embankment, flew over the guardrail and smashed into a pick-up truck traveling westbound.

The driver of the car, 33-year-old Shawn Graham, of Riverside, Ohio, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pick-up truck, an adult passenger, and a child passenger were all taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
