DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Dayton family is not giving up their fight to find a hit-and-run driver.

Shelly Bailey, 36, was killed on West Third Street in Dayton on May 25th, 2011.  She died when someone ran her off the road.  The suspect's car was recovered,  but no one was ever arrested.

One year later, her family spends many of their days walking the streets of Dayton, handing out flyers in hopes of uncovering the clue that will bring someone to justice.

“There are people out there who know things that are afraid of the people who did it, afraid to come forward, but we would like for them to think if it was their family, their mother, their daughter, their sister, their friend,” said Sheri Stallard, victim’s mother.

The family is offering a cash reward of up to $1,00 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Shelly's death.

You can also call Crime Stoppers if you know anything about the hit and run at 222-7867.
