DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Families from across the Miami Valley gathered to enjoy a day at the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historic Park Saturday afternoon.
The Family Park Day was part of the 20 Year Anniversary Ceremony of Dayton's National Park.
Ambassador and former Ohio Congressman Tony Hall delivered opening remarks at Saturday's event.
During the day, families were able to take part in a variety of activities including special programs on bicycles, line dancing, ranger tours, printing demos, 1911 Wright B flight simulator, and a paper kite workshop.
The 20 Year Anniversary Ceremony commemorates Wilbur and Orville Wright and Paul Laurence Dunbar and their work in the Dayton region.
