DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Florida man who was driving drunk when he hit and killed two people is going to prison.
Robert Finkley, 30, of Gainesville, Florida was sentenced Wednesday to a total of eight years behind bars.
He was convicted of killing Christina Jackson, 20, and Corey Cooper, 18 in November of 2011.
Jackson was a recent graduate of Carroll High School. Cooper was a senior.
Finkley, was driving drunk and speeding at double the posted speed limit, when he crashed into the victims' car at the intersection at Wayne and Wilmington avenues in Dayton.
He was convicted on several charges including vehicular homicide and driving under the influence.
