Drunk driver convicted for fatal crash

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A verdict was reached late Friday afternoon in a fatal drunk driving case.
A Montgomery County jury finds Alicia Tyner guilty of nine charges, including aggravated vehicular homicide.
2 News was the only camera in court as Tyner's family cried out after the verdict was read.
Tyner was behind the wheel when she hit Kathleen Saunders' car on Gettysburg Avenue in August of 2011.
Saunders was killed. Her father was injured. Police said Tyner was drunk at the time.
The vicitms' family didn't want to comment after the conviction but prosecutors say it's been a long, difficult road and they're relieved it's over.
Tyner faces up to 21 years in prison. She will be sentenced on September 4th.
