WASHINGTON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating after a driver flipped her vehicle while going the wrong way on the Interstate early Saturday morning.
According to troopers, around 12:45 a.m. the driver was traveling north in the southbound lanes of I-675 around milepost 3 when she drove off the right side of the road, struck a curve, and went up onto the wall. Her SUV then rolled two or three times.
She was trapped inside her vehicle for a short time, and crews worked to free her.
Officials said the woman was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Troopers said the investigation is still ongoing, but she could face charges of operating a vehicle on the wrong side of the roadway.
Authorities are also looking at whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
