DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A female driver is lucky to be alive after the car she is driving plows into a pole.
The crash occurred shortly after midnight at the intersection of Philadelphia Drive and Cornell Drive early Sunday morning. Witnesses say the car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it lost control hitting a pole.
The driver had to be cut from the car. All three occupants of the vehicle, who are estimated to be in their 20s, were taken to Miami Valley Hospital and are expected to be alright.
The crash remains under investigation, but speed is expected to be a factor.
