Driver injured after crash into pole

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A man's late night drive on a Dayton city street turned into a trip to the hospital early Friday.

The man lost control and crashed into a pole at Hillcrest and Catalpa around 2:30 a.m.  It did not appear anyone's utilities or power were affected.

The driver was expected to okay, said Dayton Police at the scene. Officers also told 2News they are investigating peed as a cause of the crash.
